Emro, a South Korean AI-powered supplier relationship management – SRM software company, is speeding up its global growth after gaining its first customer in Europe.
The company currently has three North American customers and is aggressively targeting the global SRM market, signing an established European energy solutions company to its client roster.
Emro, on the 7th September, 2026, revealed it had entered into a solution supply agreement with Samsung SDS’s overseas subsidiary. According to the agreement, as part of developing its strategic supply chain, Emro will offer its SRM SaaS solution, Caidentia, to Company A, which is a leading European energy solutions provider, and develop the core procurement processes of the company.
The project will use the AI-based design-to-source capability of Emro. Emro is going to provide Company A with the AI-powered automated bill-of-materials – BOM comparison and evaluation functionality that it previously made available in the procurement systems of global PC and server manufacturers.
The company will also provide design-to-source features that will incorporate new product development, quality planning and oversight, and sourcing, allowing for systematic cost and quality management beginning at the initial phases of product development.
Volatility in the worldwide market is increasing, and the significance of strategic supply chain development and cost management from the development of new products stage is growing, Emro explained.
Caidentia will help Company A to improve its quality and cost competitiveness through the use of AI-based design-to-source process, the company believes.
This contract is the first customer win by Emro in the European market. Europe is a key market for the global business of Emro, along with North America, and is actively growing its footprint.
The company already has three customers in North America and intends to make use of the Company A deal as an extra indication of ramping up sales activities in focusing on European companies.
The company says that demonstrations of the Caidentia solution are now taking place for European automotive and technology companies. Emro is additionally establishing new projects with current North American customers to provide new functionalities to the solution, thereby expanding its overseas business presence.
Riding on Global Recognition to Grow into Asia
One of the representatives from Emro said that since accelerating the overseas expansion in 2024, Caidentia has developed a strong reference base by signing up leading international businesses in core industries across the North American and European markets. The company is also well placed to leverage this contract to build its overseas business in Europe and Asia, having boosted its global profile via inclusion in reports by a global market research firm and clinching the Red Dot Design Award, the representative added.
Improving the Market Position of SRM
SRM is a system that allows companies to strategically handle interactions with their suppliers. Demand for solutions like this is rising amid greater global supply chain ambiguity. The AI-powered SRM SaaS solution from Emro is looking to stand out in overseas markets.
Obtaining its first European customer is anticipated to be a key milestone in the overseas expansion plan by Emro. With references in Europe after North America, the company can now establish greater trust in sales activities focusing on European companies. This case could be an encouraging sign for growth into other industry sectors. For instance, the energy sector has large-scale supply chains and intricate procurement processes.
The use by Emro of Samsung SDS’s overseas subsidiary as an indirect sales channel also merits mention. The move seems to be intended to reduce local market entry obstacles through Samsung SDS’s global network and sales capacity. Results from ongoing demonstrations for European auto and technology companies, and any new contracts, will be important indicators of the global growth trajectory by Emro.
