Intel Corporation, on July 21, 2026, announced a strategic partnership to develop Fortinet Security Processor 6 – SP6.
The collaboration builds on a longstanding partnership between the two companies and fuses the expertise of Fortinet in proprietary, purpose-built security processing with advanced design as well as packaging and manufacturing capabilities from Intel to speed up and bolster SP6 development.
This work will also help make global supply chain robust of Fortinet.
As the threat scenario evolves rapidly, security infrastructure has to offer both performance and creativity at scale, said the CEO of Intel, Lip-Bu Tan.
