The MoU offers a broad framework for collaboration between both parties to look into joint possibilities in the areas of standardised logistics services and supply chains as well as industrial sectors. As per MoU with King Salman Energy City Dry Port, the two sides will collaborate to study possibilities for partnership in supply chain solutions, logistics services, and integrated services and explore fields of operational integration in order to promote industrial and logistics initiatives. The area of collaboration also includes an analysis of possibilities for the provision of storage and transportation services.
The MoU reiterates firm commitment by SAL to developing strategic alliances that enhance the integration among the logistics as well as industrial sectors in the Kingdom. It will additionally promote the growing importance of standard logistics services as a catalyst of industrial and commercial expansion, further strengthening the status of the Kingdom as an international hub for trade, transportation, and logistics under the aegis of Saudi Vision 2030.
