Krane has unveiled Procurement OS, an enterprise materials procurement module that leverages live construction supply chain data throughout the startup’s $17B+ portfolio in order to deliver supply chain materials intelligence while in the preconstruction phase. The module draws on lead times, submittal cycle times, and supplier delivery performance as well as material availability as they occur on various live jobsites to identify supply chain hazards and automatically evaluate supplier proposals in terms of technical compliance. Procurement OS is designed to push jobsite data intelligence upstream when making choices about equipment and vendors throughout preconstruction.
The core materials management platform from Krane is central to how construction teams handle the day-to-day flow of materials, from when a submittal is started by means of acceptance, fabrication, and shipment as well as job site delivery.
