Rhenus Logistics, along with Zhengtong Auto, which, apparently, is a fully owned subsidiary of ZhengTong Auto from Xiamen ITG Holding Group, has entered into an MoU to support the logistics needs of Zhengtong Auto in Poland.

The contract, which was agreed upon on November 4, 2026, at the Shanghai office of Rhenus – Rhenus Group’s Greater China headquarters – will see Rhenus become a strategic collaborator in automotive logistics and allow Zhengtong Auto to expand their growth into Europe with a global logistics network.

The MoU was officially signed by Hong Shaoyong, the General Manager of the Automotive Supply Chain Division of China, Zhengtong Auto, and Tobias Koenig, CCO of Rhenus Group. This partnership opens the door for both companies to work together when it comes to automotive logistics solutions in China as well as Europe.

According to the agreement, as part of supporting the logistics needs of Zhengtong Auto in Poland, Rhenus will assist in setting up an international bonded warehouse and shipment hub located in Poland. The tailor-made comprehensive logistics solution covers international shipping of finished vehicles from Shanghai to Poland and the development of tailor-made SOPs in line with automotive logistics standards, along with yard-level administration, standard inventory administration, and distribution in Poland.

Furthermore, both parties are currently working on projects in multiple European markets, like Italy and Belgium, as well as Norway. The collaboration is intended to establish the groundwork for both parties to build a scalable global logistics infrastructure, allowing ITG to further its global development and market penetration.

According to Hong Shaoyong, General Manager of the Automotive Supply Chain Division in China, Zhengtong Auto, Rhenus has been with them since the start of their Europe expansion journey, and that they felt confident that they could move forward smoothly, as they knew how to balance strategic guidance with effective operational execution.

CCO of Rhenus Group, Tobias Koenig said “Rhenus has a strong integrated China-Europe network and expertise in developing customer end-to-end solutions for this industry and others, which the partnership is able to leverage on. With our proven capabilities in both early-stage consulting and operational execution, the partnership is well-positioned to scale into a broader international logistics network. We are proud of the trust that Zhengtong Auto has in Rhenus and our team will continue to support their global growth and market expansion.”
