Source Logistics, a fast-growing omni-channel distribution, warehousing, and transportation company based in the U.S., announced on March 23, 2026, a new partnership for enterprise warehouse technology and implementation. This partnership is meant to help it better serve its customers and speed up its growth across the country. The company has chosen the IFS Softeon Warehouse Management System – WMS as its enterprise WMS platform, whereas Alpine Supply Chain Solutions will be the partner in implementation and integration.
Source Logistics helps customers in the food and beverage, grocery, retail, CPG, and health and beauty industries, all of whom need speed, accuracy, and traceability to make sure their products are safe. The company needed a warehouse management system that could handle complicated 3PL needs and also make it easy to launch new facilities on a regular basis throughout its growing network in order to expand its business.
After assessing several WMS providers, Source chose Softeon because it has a lot of experience with 3PL, a flexible multi-tenant architecture, along with an API-driven design. Source can quickly bring new facilities online with the configuration-based features of the platform while at the same time keeping workflows and system connectivity as well as visibility across the whole business standardized. This means that customers are going to get faster and more reliable service.
Bart Bullard, the VP of Technology at Source Logistics, said, “This WMS upgrade is about delivering a better experience for our customers. Implementing IFS Softeon allows us to provide them with greater inventory visibility, improved order accuracy, and scalable infrastructure to support their businesses growth goals all without disruption to service.”
Source chose Alpine Supply Chain Solutions to lead the implementation because it had successfully implemented Softeon in 3PLs, had experienced leaders, and used a disciplined delivery model focusing on repeatable processes and readiness in operations.
This program is indeed moving forward at some pace, with Source’s Montebello, California, facility going ahead and serving as the main site for its implementation. The first location helped set up best practices, operating standards, and system blueprints that will be used in all future facilities. This will speed up the onboarding process and the growth of the network.
As each facility goes live, the new WMS will deliver meaningful, day-to-day benefits for customers of Source Logistics, including faster and more accurate order processing, enhanced lot and inventory traceability, stronger compliance readiness, and also enhanced data security, which will help with much better forecasting, fewer stockouts, and more confident planning as the volumes surge. With the implementation of enterprise warehouse technology, the changes would show the dedication of Source Logistics to operational excellence and to giving customers a scalable, dependable platform that will help them grow with time.
