JUSDA Europe, a logistics company, and the Czech Republic’s embassy in Belgrade went on to host an expert meeting called the JUSDA Europe Industry Dialogue – Strengthening EU-Western Balkans Logistics Collaboration.
The primary objective of Strengthening EU-Western Balkans Logistics was to improve collaboration between Czech and Serbian partners within the logistics, transportation, and supply chain sectors. Representatives from logistics companies and industrial businesses, along with important organizations like the Serbian Chamber of Commerce and the Ministry of Construction, Transport, and Infrastructure, were present at the meeting. The primary subjects of discussion were ways for the EU and Western Balkan countries to work together and the real-world problems that come up when building a supply chain.
According to the general manager of JUSDA Europe, Petr Škoda, “Serbia and the larger Western Balkans region are a strategic milestone in our ongoing growth. We’re not here to compete with local businesses; we’re here to be a partner that connects them to global markets.” He also said that the new distribution center in Zrenjanin is going to create a lot of new jobs.
The program included separate sections on strategic partnerships and market opportunities, as well as real-life case studies. JUSDA doesn’t just see itself as a logistics service provider but it also sees itself as a full-service integrator along with a solution designer. Škoda said, “Our logistics solutions are custom-tailored to meet the manufacturing and distribution requirements of our clients, ensuring a highly efficient flow of goods from the factory floor to the end consumer.”
Czech diplomats stressed how important these kinds of projects are. Pavel Daněk from the Czech Embassy. opined that “Fostering commercial collaboration between Czech and Serbian businesses remains a top priority. Initiatives like today’s event are instrumental in forging concrete partnerships and solidifying the footprint of Czech companies within the Serbian market.”
JUSDA Europe is steadily growing its presence as part of a global group that goes on to offer end-to-end logistics solutions. Its entry into Serbia is indeed a part of a bigger plan so as to build strong regional partnerships and, at the same time, connect European and Asian supply chains without any issues. Škoda added that “our ambition is to establish long-term partnerships and collaborate with local enterprises to pioneer projects that transcend borders. We view the Western Balkans as a vital logistics hub with escalating importance for global supply chains.”
