Kuehne+Nagel, continues its emphasis on strategic growth initiatives and has signed a long-term strategic partnership with its customer Amazon. The scope of the collaboration is broad. This builds on an already strong relationship and is intended to support potential business opportunities and further enhance customer services for Amazon as well as its partners.

Says Stefan Paul, CEO of Kuehne+Nagel International AG, “We are excited to enter this long-term collaboration with Amazon, with a shared focus on scale, innovation, and customer value. Kuehne+Nagel’s global network, digital capabilities, and supply chain expertise are well positioned to support Amazon’s evolving business needs, enabling us to accelerate future growth opportunities and create lasting value for our customers. We are setting the foundation for a new level of customer service commitment at a global scale for Amazon.”

The partnership between Amazon Web Services – AWS encompasses the entire infrastructure lifecycle from construction and equipment installation to ongoing maintenance, upgrades, and expansion projects. Kuehne+Nagel will leverage its relationship with Amazon and AWS to boost supply chain durability, scalability, and efficiency in operations, supporting the ongoing development of cloud infrastructure around the world.

This long-term strategic partnership is supported by a call option on prevailing Kuehne+Nagel shares, cash-settled or, at Amazon’s election, settled in shares with vesting dependent on commercial milestones and services over a period of up to seven years. Kuehne+Nagel has entered into an arrangement with a third-party financial institution to conduct hedging transactions in Kuehne+Nagel shares in connection with this arrangement.
