ITS Logistics introduced ITS Engage, a new AI-driven supply chain platform aimed at revolutionising collaboration among shippers’, carriers’, and supply chain partners. This supply chain platform will improve visibility and operational performance, a major supply chain tech innovation for B2B constituents.
“When you use third-party software, you’re beholden to an outside party who likely doesn’t act at the speed that we require in responding to urgent needs or market shifts,” Peter Weis, Chief Information Officer and SVP of Supply Chain Services, explained. “Owning our technology makes us accountable to one person — the customer. We can react to their needs and make solutions that are truly bespoke. As a result, we’re able to rapidly meet the demands of customers from startups to Fortune 500 shippers.” He added.
Three years of investment in proprietary technology preceded the development of ITS Engage. ITS Logistics has made technology one of its chief points of differentiation, having already implemented ITS Drive, a cloud-based transportation management solution that manages all the firm’s truckload and drayage businesses.
Enhancing the company’s initial visibility solution, ContainerAI, the new product uses machine learning and high-level analytics that enable users to:
- Do away with static reporting with dashboards and global search functions
- Integrate end-to-end shipment movement from port to delivery point
- Get ahead of delays and accessorial fees with alerts and real-time tracking of shipments
- Visualise operations with interactive maps and dynamic sort filters.
- Link tech stacks and avoid data silos with frictionless EDI and API integration
ITS Logistics is going to unveil additional market-facing solutions during the next few months across the supply chain, such as truckload, LTL, small parcel, fulfilment, and managed solutions—along with carrier experience management, fraud prevention, hybrid asset management solutions, and scope 3 emissions reduction.
ITS Engage’s first solution is founded on drayage and container lifecycle and combines machine learning and big data-powered source-to-destination shipment tracking. Benefits of this supply chain platform include real-time alerting for preventing delay and fee charges, interactive dashboards, interactive maps, and EDI and API support to eliminate data silos. Consumers like Caraway and ITG Voma already enjoyed real gains.
